The Waldrum aquatint etchings and reduction linocuts each began with a drawing. Waldrum experimented with design, color and values at home in his studio. Once he arrived at the print shop, he followed a fully thought-out plan. The process always began with transferring the lines of a drawing, using tracing paper and graphite, to the print block.
